In the 1980’s, Santa Ana, California had a booming 70% economic growth rate. Corporations positioned their headquarters here. Arts museums, entertainment and restaurants popped up everywhere. It’s prime location claimed 75 degrees and ocean breeze year round! Sadly I was painfully shy to seize Santa Ana’s perks. Thankfully, my confidence improved in my twenties working as a buyer, demanding extensive research.

With tight deadlines, I analyzed trends quickly and built a strong construction network. Working in supply chain, I traced set backs and identified strengths in companies. My final reports presented warnings with suggestions using strong data to persuade an order approval.

For now, as my kids apply for colleges, I’m training for run (mostly jog) marathons again and volunteering at a non-profit swim club.
